Our Story
Hi, I’m Kim Walters, the creator of Cosmic Closet. I’ve always been fascinated by astrology—probably because I’m a Sagittarius sun and moon, which means I’m all about chasing new experiences, learning as much as I can, and following my sense of adventure. Add in my Virgo rising, and you’ll understand why I’m also pretty particular about the details. Cosmic Closet was born from that mix: a love for exploration, a deep connection to astrology, and a drive to create something meaningful.
I started Cosmic Closet as a way to combine my passion for astrology with my love for creativity and self-expression. For me, astrology isn’t just about horoscopes or zodiac memes (though I love a good Scorpio joke)—it’s a lens to understand ourselves, connect with others, and even laugh at the chaos when Mercury goes retrograde. I wanted to create designs that speak to people who see the same magic in the cosmos and want their clothing to reflect that.
This store also gives me the freedom to do what I love most: travel. Living as a digital nomad has let me explore places like Croatia, Thailand, and Vietnam, soaking up new perspectives and finding inspiration in every corner of the world. Traveling reminds me how expansive life can be, and astrology works the same way—it’s a reminder that we’re all part of something bigger.
